Official opening of the LDK) campaign, Hoti: The Democratic League has proved that it has best government

The candidate for prime minister by the Democratic League of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, at the official opening of the election field, has addressed the citizens of the country.

Hoti has said, among other things, that the LDK has proven that it knows best to govern the country.

Full speech candidate for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti:

Dear citizens,

The Democratic League has proven that it is best to govern, with programmes offering concrete solutions.

Our first priority is health. We're going to make sure that citizens are vaccinated againstvid-19, start with health insurance, and the Health Information System, and modernisation of medical equipment.

Second priority is education. We pledge to increase participation in pre-school education, reduce the number of students per classroom, go towards daily learning, strengthen professional education, increase quality in higher education, and promote science.

We pledge investments in the empowerment of youth, paying practical jobs, grants for young businesses, scholarships for talent, recognition of volunteer work.

We want everyone to see the beauty and prosperity that Kosovo has.

We will develop tourism, independent cultural institutions, support artists and cultural events.

Economic development and well-being are priorities. We are able to ease credit conditions, subsidize interest rates, grants for businesses, digital fiscalisation and liberalisation of the energy market. We will support the farmer and producer with much more subsidies and grants, with transparent procedures. We'll grow the agricultural surfaces under water. We will complete the water supply network for all citizens and sewage treatment.

We pledge to digitise all public services in the record term, to avoid any bureaucracy against citizens and businesses.

We will digitize our schools and support innovative businesses. Public procurement will be fully electronic, transparent and new standards, with new firms being rewarded, respecting contracts that do quality jobs.

Odas and professional associations will take part in the implementation of economic and social policies by law.

With our partners, we will bring gas to Pristina and connect Pristina with Durres to the railway.

The minimum wage will be 300 euros regardless of age.

We vow to lift the 15-year restrictions on contributing pensions.

There will be no pensions under the minimum wage by 2023.

Social assistance will be based on living expenses.

We'll provide institutional care to people with special needs.

To ensure fully functional legal state, we will launch the property in justice that will increase efficiency and transparency in justice. All these processes will include our exile.

Because just like that, we consolidate and strengthen the state we started together.
