Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said the nuclear agreement, also known as the General Joint Action Plan, is “a multilateral international agreement that has been approved and stabilised under UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
“is in no way renegotiated and its parties are also defined and unchanged”, Khatibzadeh said.
He called on Macro to refrain from <x0 hasty and thoughtless” attitudes.
Macron said Saudi Arabia should be included in negotiations concerning the nuclear agreement.
“If French officials are concerned about major arms sales in Arab Gulf countries, it would be better for them to reconsider their” policies, Khatibzadeh said.
French <x0m> Weapons, along with other Western weapons, have not only massacred and killed thousands of jamenas, but are also the main reason behind instability in the Persian Gulf region”, he said.
“Without halting the flow of arms exports from France, Britain, the US and other countries, stability and calm cannot be expected in this delicate region”, the Iranian official added.
Khatibzadeh also stressed that the US withdrew from the deal, while Europe failed to preserve it.
“If we want to save the deal, the US must return and lift sanctions on Tehran imposed during former US President Donald Trump”'s mandate, he stressed.
