Kremlin critic Alexei Navally, sentenced to two and a half years in prison, has moved to a prison outside Moscow City.
According to foreign media, Telegrafi records, Navally's detention has led to international calls for his immediate release, including Europe's highest human rights court.
His lawyer, Vadim Kobzev, did not declare what prison he was sent to, but Russian news reports have indicated earlier that he would likely be sent to a facility in western Russia.
Navajo, 44, was arrested on January 17th when he returned from Germany, where he spent five months recovering from a poisoning with nervous agents for whom he blames the Kremlin.
He was immediately arrested when he arrived in Russia for violating parole.
Navajo fell ill on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow in August 2020 and was placed in a coma at a hospital in Siberia before moving to Germany.
Labal tests conducted in Germany, France and Sweden have confirmed that the Navajo was poisoned with a Novichok class nervous agent, a confirmed result also by the International Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons
