Bizar's Fenomen took place in the city of Dzerzysk and around it, near the chemical plant Dzerzyskoye Orgstiko, who had once tasted hydrocinic acid.
Experts believe that this detail can help explain why some dogs are turning blue.
Without giving any additional details, Dmitry Karekkin, head of the Zoosashchita vetry hospital, blamed the blue on “any kind of chemical” that does not seem to have physically injured animals.
