Mustafa, according to some of the LDK's founders, was a paradoxic figure that had come through the pressures of certain groups and has never represented the Romanian spirit over which the LDK stood out. He ruled out and did not allow a countercontinence in domestic elections.
Adem Salihaj, one of former co-workers of former President Ibrahim Rugova, has commented on the loss of the LDK, noting that reforms in the LDK undertaken earlier have been wageable. He added that a figure with leadership within the LDK should be found.
There should be a figure that will have leadership in LDK in years to come. We have the LDK leadership, a large number of members. Over 30% has recruited Isa Mustafa for his personal needs to be heard, I believe there will be a real figure in there that will radically change this policy of Isa Mustafa”, Saliaj said.
