The chairman of the Municipal Election Commission in North Mitrovica, Slobodan Dimitrijevic, confirmed to Kosovo Online that all options have been opened over time.
“All polling stations are open on time, at seven polling stations, a total of 23 polling stations. Right now, as you can see, everything is going smoothly and we have a good share in these early hours of the morning. I hope everyone will exercise their right to vote during the day and I call on all citizens to come out and use their right”, Dimitrijevic said.
The vote began on time in other Serb-run municipalities in Kosovo, in Gracanica, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok ...
Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq, accompanied by other leaders of this party, used his right to vote in the morning at 8 o'clock at the “Mhailo Petrovic é Atlas” Technical School.
After voting in a brief media address, Rakic has said it was a special day for Serbs and that, in addition to falling bad weather and snow, a large number of citizens have left early morning to carry out their civic right.
