LDK opens election campaign, Hoti expands pledges for governance

The Democratic League of Kosovo has opened its campaign for early elections on February 14th, through a video material in which the candidate for prime minister from the ranks of this party, Avdullah Hoti, unveiled his pledges and priorities for the country's government mandate.
Tonight, even officially, the deadline for the campaign of political subjects for the February 14th elections will be held following the Constitutional decision to oust the Hoti Government.
The LDK in these candidate elections for prime minister has Avdullah Hotin, who said this party's programme offers concrete solutions and that health priority will be the vaccine against COVID-19, health insurance, health information system and medical equipment modernisation.
The other priorities will be education, for which Hoti said there will be increased participation in pre-school education, lowering the number of students per class, implementing whole-day learning, strengthening professional education, establishing quality in higher education and promoting science.
Hoti another pledge has made investments in empowering youth, practical jobs paid, grants for businesses for youth, scholarships for talent, tourism development, support for culture and artists.
In an economic aspect, he said there would be ease of credit conditions, subsidisation of interest rates, grants for businesses, digital fiscalisation and liberalisation of the energy market, as well as support innovative businesses.
“We will support the farmer and producer with much more subsidies and grants, oriented to production, with transparent procedures. We'll grow the agricultural surfaces under water. We will complete the water supply network for all citizens and sewage treatment. We pledge to digitise all public services in the record term, to avoid any bureaucracy against citizens and businesses”, Hoti said.
According to him, under the rule of the LDK, public procurement will be fully electronic, transparent and new standards, Odat and professional associations will take on a role by law in implementing economic and social policies, while the minimum wage will be 300 euros.
The minimum wage will be 300 euros regardless of age. We vow to lift the 15-year restrictions on contributing pensions. There will be no pensions under the minimum wage by 2023. Social assistance will be based on living expenses. We'll provide institutional care to people with special needs. To ensure a fully functional legal state, we will start vetoing justice that will increase efficiency and transparency in justice.
