Former Kosovo Ambassador to Italy Alma Lama, a candidate LDK MP, has spoken of Turkish President Tayip Erdogan's letter to Albin Kurti, expressing his joy that Vetevendosje will consider the deployment of the embassy to Jerusalem.
Lama through a Facebook post has said Kosovo's foreign policy should be based on its own interests and the preservation of reports with strategic partners.
In this context, she has said that the letter is not binding.
Turkey has good reports with Putin's Russia, as well as with Serbia, which neither the foreign policy nor the interests of Kosovo fit, but despite the fact that we have good bilateral reports with Turkey”, she wrote.

Kosovo's foreign policy should be based on its own interests and the preservation of reports with strategic partners, primarily the US.
The Turkish president's letter regarding the opening of the embassy in Israel should be taken as Turkey's stance on this issue, but not as any obligation, as no one has the right to intervene in our decisions as a sovereign state.
Turkey has good reports with Putin's Russia, as well as with Serbia, which neither the foreign policy nor the interests of Kosovo fit, but despite all, we have good bilateral reports with Turkey.
Our main partner is the U.S. and we need to coordinate with them, in relation to Israel.
And never forget the role of the Jews in releasing Kosovo.
