Former Kosovo Parliament deputy Alma Lama will not be part of the next legislature.

In this regard, Lama has said she is not expecting what the CEC will publish and that she has not expected better results because of her late entry as an MP candidate.

“From the results so far, I don't believe. Although I've got very few results and it's not like I'm waiting for what the CEC will publish, but I haven't expected anything better because I'm too late and I had no way of campaigning for a short period of”.

Among other things, Lama said recounting of votes in the QNR would be more reliable for candidates for MPs, since, she says, greater transparency would be offered.

“I have said the process would be better and more reliable if the votes were recounted in the QNR as well. I have no charges against any political subject, but given the irregularities that have occurred in the past, I think that candidates for MPs would be offered greater transparency if votes are recounted. But it would be best to scan votes as if they were happening in other countries in order to remove any manipulation that could happen in the counting centres. I was in LDK from 2013 and in 2014 I was elected deputy with LDK. From there I went on a mission to Italy and returned to my home in LDK”.

Also, Lama indicated one of the reasons why the LDK suffered losses in the February 14th elections.

The results were quite surprising, although we had indicators from polls but not for such a result. We have to run tests on why it has arrived here, but one of the reasons lies with the extraordinary attacks the LDK has had on the media, from political opponents, very often unfair about the work the LDK has done”.
