Lajcak worries again: In contact with Americans, dialogue must start immediately

EU Special Representative for Dialogue Between Kosovo and Serbia Miroslav Lajcak says Brussels is convinced that “an agreement for normalisation of reports between the two states is absolutely possible”. The “is in their interest, in the interest of the entire region, and certainly in the interest of the EU as well as”, Lajcak said. [...]
The “is in their interest, in the interest of the entire region, and certainly in the interest of the EU as well, Lajcak has said of Danas, asking what they would do if there is no compromise on the issue.
Lajcak has said that the EU and the US have a long history of productive co-operation in the Western Balkans and in the process of normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
This co-operation has brought tangible results over the years, I'm in inseparable contact with American colleagues, to prepare a common strategy for joint activities, and we're looking for a strong transatlantic co-operation rebuilt”, Lajcak has said.
He has since refused to talk about any exact date about when he will resume dialogue.
The EU's message is clear. We are willing to resume dialogue where we left it in December once the new Kosovo government is established. I am also willing to travel to the region and meet the parties once the conditions allow. The EU is clear. Continued dialogue without unnecessary delay is in the interest of all”, Lajcak stressed, among other things.
Until the Kosovo election winner, Albin Kurti, who is expected to lead the new government, with his recent statements it has hinted he will not address the problem of dialogue with Serbia as a priority. As Kurt stated on the 14th evening of February, the dialogue for citizens is 6th on the list of priorities.
Call for resumption of dialogue without delay has also been made by the United States of America.
