Mr. Kurti has declared that she will resume operations to verify the top administration, until the anti-mafia law is passed.
He says that during his time in government, he has discovered that corruption in Kosovo was focused on <x0maja of the state” and had not been introduced into the whole society, Periscopi follows.
Kurt has not provided further explanations to clarify the findings made during the past year that led to such a conclusion.
He believes that people have voted for change just because they haven't had law problems in the middle of society, as the problem was in the top administration.
Full answer for Le Temps:
We have two priorities, work and justice. Kosovo has been destroyed by unemployment and corruption. We need investment, but nothing can happen without a determined fight against corruption. When I was prime minister, I began operations to verify the top administration. Now we're going to get this job back, and we're going to pass the anti-mafia law. However, while on duty, I discovered a very encouraging fact: corruption has focused on the top of the state, it has not been introduced throughout society, unlike other countries in the region. That's why people voted for change. We want to end an old regime where corrupt elites focus wealth.
