Kurti made these statements during an interview with Euronews, just days after his party Vetevendosje won the largest share of votes in Kosovo so far, paving the way for Kurti to form the government.
“We still don't have the law for referenda in Kosovo, but two referenda between our state and Albania would solve such a thing”, Kurti said, when asked if you still support the idea of the national union with Albania.
“as soon as the state of Kosovo is reinforced. After we manage to do it peacefully and democraticly. I think I'd vote for it. Yes”, Kurti declared away, after being asked how he would vote in that referendum.
Among other things, Kurti has spoken about continuing Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which he has said would require reciprocity from Serbia.
I'm ready to get involved in a dialogue where there are benefits. Serbia committed genocide in Kosovo”, the first VV) declared.
On the other hand, the former prime minister has also opposed Kosovo's supply of anti-Convidian vaccines from China and Russia, arguing that Kosovo's orientation has always been the West.
