This is after the five-year agreement signed in 2016 between Kosovo and Serbia's offices in Brussels ends.

Civil Record Agency Director Bekim Hoxha has confirmed to “Syri.net” that KS plates are being removed from vehicles that are being registered and by September 14th will all be removed.

He indicated that this is being done at the expense of the Brussels agreement, which has begun to implement on September 14, 2016, and ends on September 14, 2021.

The number of registered vehicles with KS license plates had exceeded 35 thousand, and by September 14th, KS plates were taken and given to the RKS.

From this institution, it shows that from September 14th, the KS officials whose census was exhausted were taken and new plates released.

Even from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they have said that the owners of Kosovo's vehicles are obliged to convert KS plates with those RKS.

“All the owners of the tools owned by KS license plates on the basis of continuing vehicle registration are obliged to replace KS plates with RKS plates, according to procedures for continuing vehicle registration and based on the No.012/20 decision of the 10,01.2020 for the set of tariffs”.
