He has said that seismically two parameters should be taken into account. One is the seismic danger of the other seismic risk.
“As far as seismic risks are concerned, I believe all citizens of Kosovo are informed of what seismic risks Kosovo may have, based on the past, on the historical catalogue of earthquakes, on the map of seismic danger, on tectonics, topography. The “Zonas that bear the resemblance of an impending earthquake, such as Ferizaj, Year, Gjilan, is the Prizren-Gjakov area, Peja-Istog and northern Kosovo areas, could strike an earthquake in the future with magnitudes up to 6.5 degrees. And the Drenica area, or Pristina, Mitrovica could be hit by an earthquake in the future of 6.0 to 6.2 degrees of Richter”.
