“According to IHMK estimates, from February 8th to February 12th, 2021, as a result of rainfall and snow melting in the mountains of the Drini White basin, which in some areas will be of higher intensity, significant growth of water levels and flows is expected as well as the possibility of rapid floods and floods in the lower areas. The highest amount and intensity of rainfall is expected to be on the Dukagjin Plains and in the basin of Ibrit”, the IHMK report said.
The IHPC has added that in the country's other rivers, easy raise in the flow is expected and that this information will be updated by IHMK, according to the situation and hydrological calculations.
