In the future, all who enter, including regular cross-border travellers, will have to register and show a negative test of the coronary once a week, says Interior Minister Karln-Nehammer, writes sf.ch.ch.
However, regular cross-border travellers are excluded from the ten-day mandatory quarantine. All others are forced to enter the ten - day quarantine after entering the country.
For all other travelers, the free “test” -- which was possible earlier, after five days of quarantine -- will no longer be applied.
In addition, existing border controls with neighbouring countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia will be extended.
In particular, the Czech Republic has a very high number of new infections, explains Minister Nehammer.
