Two Kosovars to run in Swiss municipal elections

In this municipality, with 13 thousand people, it is not officially said to live around 700 Albanian residents.

Along with Nasser Isen in the race for the Eeblens Municipal Assembly with the Socialist Party (SP) also figures Aranda Zeka (freeze and teachers, descended from Rahoveci), and Rexhep Shala from PRL. For the foreign community these municipal-level elections are also of great importance, because it is the second time that every citizen who lives more than 10 years in Switzerland and 3 years in the Vaud can vote on issues pertaining to city management. The Vaud canton constitution allows, in addition to confronting ideas between political parties for their programmes, to be considered, to convince foreign citizens to turn out to exercise this right to vote that is a challenge to these elections.

In these elections Albanians compete not only with the Socilacratic Party but also in the right or middle parties.
