KMDLNj has reacted after violence against the son of Serbian politician Nenad Rassic, as well as burning the car of the former Self-Deputer of Vetevendosje Movement Mefail Bajci, demanding that both cases be investigated.
KMDLNj, has earlier reacted to blackmail, threats and physical violence against Kosovo Serb political leaders who proved to be in defense of the interests of their countrymen and who were not on Belgrade's official line, but adds that the response of institutions has been in disparity with the risk that Kosovo Serb politicians have been subjected to.
“Dhuna has been evacuated mainly before the elections, during campaigns and election day to intimidate voters and, in this way, have been eliminated from the political scene, tell all Kosovo Serb political leaders who have led a reasonable, nonconfrontative, integration and collaborative policy. That is why they were attacked, publicly lynning Nenad Rassic, Slobodan Petrovic, Rada Trajkovovic and others among whom there have been arrested by BIA of Serbia as if it were the case of Slobodan Petrovic”, it is said in the reaction of KMDLNj.
KMDLNj says the court should say the final word whether it was coincidence of the case or intentional assault on Nikola Rashisic, due to his father's political activity, Nenad Rassic.
“Although the circumstances under which the attack on Nicolaus Rassic has taken place provoke suspicions based on the motives of the attack, The KMDLNI invites all parties to refrain from biased statements until a decision by the competent court. KMDLNj highly recognises the rapid and efficient engagement of the Kosovo Police and the state prosecution in clarifying the case, meaning that this case is being dealt with with with with with with with with with seriousness and professionalism”, the communique follows.
The KMDLNI following has also called for investigation into the burning of LVV deputy candidate car Mefail Bajci.
The KMDLNj case also requires investigations to determine the causes leading to the burning of Mr. Bajqinovci. Thus, with the confirmation of the causes, possible speculation would be eliminated, or, on the contrary, if evidence of intentional fire is provided, possible perpetrators should be found and brought to the organs of justice that seriously endangered MP Bajqinovci”, the communique ends.
