Hashim Thaci's lawyers, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi have made a joint request for the extension of the pre-emptive deadline for release from custody.
The judge of the preliminary procedure, at the conference held on February 16, 2021, has ordered protection to be submitted by “by Friday, February 26th, parameters if the reasons for continuing detention still exist”, writes in the document published by the Specialised Chambers, Pryskopi records.

According to the defence, the appeals decision for the provisional release of the accused must first be expected.
In the end, the defense has asked the judge for the preliminary procedure:
1. Find one Reason Good in line with Rule 95) rules for variation of the time limit, and
