One of the accused, Rade Basara, until he pleaded guilty, added that he had been abroad when Ivanovic was killed on January 16th 2018, the signal follows.
“I'm not guilty that the moment the murder was committed I was in Croatia”He said.
Charged in this case are Marko Rossic, Silvana Arsovic, Zarko Jovanovic, Nedeljko Spasojevicq, Rade Basara and Dragisa Markovik.
As leaders of the criminal group, however, Milan Radojic and Zvonko Veselinovic are suspected.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor had filed the first indictment on December 2nd, 2019. On December 30th, then-prosecutor Sylla Hoxha had filed the second, amended indictment, under which a prepacket hearing was held on February 11th, 2020.
Oliver Ivanovic was killed on January 16th 2018, with six shots fired on his back, ahead of his party's office in northern Mitrovica.
