KDS appeals for electricity savings

In recent days there have been drastic changes in weather, where low temperatures have caused consumers to use electricity for heating as well. As a result, online overload and asset overheating have been caused, thus endangering the stable power supply.

KEDS has repeatedly invested in modernising its network and maintenance, expanding supply lines and strengthening current ones. But the current demand exceeds the design of the electrical network in several locations. This, as the transformation of electricity into thermal energy is a violent process and no electricity grid is destined for heating. In such situations, so that we can have the best supply and the network can handle the load more easily, appeal for maximum electricity savings.

In countries where possible, consumers will be warmed by alternative forms, as it would greatly facilitate normal network functioning

At the same time, the mobilization of KEDS is maximum for each unexpected event to be averted as soon as possible.
