Juda Balje: Bosnian representatives in Kosovo's Parliament elected with Serb votes

Former Kosovo Parliament President Duda Balje, who is also head of the Social Democratic Union, in an interview with the Bosnian media clix.ba, has shown how Adrijana Hodzic with her initiative has managed to enter the Kosovo Assembly with votes taken by majority Serb municipalities. “In recent elections of [...]
In the last 2019 elections, the Serbian List had 10,000 votes belonging to Serbs. So given that these votes did not have to be needed, they planned to use these votes to fight “national minorities. They chose Adriana hodzic from the “United Community” initiative, which has also been deputy chairman in the northern Mitrovica municipality”, Duda Balje said.
She says that according to the information they have received, from the votes that have been counted, Hodzic has managed to get two of the three countries in the Kosovo Assembly belonging to Bosniaks.
Duda Balje says Hodzic will now assume a position that does not belong, because it does not represent the real election will of minorities.
“This is also contrary to the Kosovo Constitution, which says minorities should be represented by people elected by members of the same minorities”, has added further.
She stressed that she was particularly sad about the fact that her former party, the “Vakat” coalition, would most likely participate in this “game”.
Balje has said the Serbian List aims to take control of 14 of the 20 countries reserved for minorities, which could be exploited at the moment Kosovo's next president is elected.
