“Public explanation about the video incident reported today during the exam at the UP's Jury Faculty
Pristina University Faculty Jurydical, after reporting on social networks and electronic media of a recording (video), which took place during the first year's exam, on course “The history of Juridical and State Institutions”, explains the following:
Testing on “The history of the Jury and State Institutions” is maintained according to the previously announced deadline and three (3) members of academic staff have cared for for the exam: Dr.c Emine Avdyli, Prof. Dr. Tahiraj butterfly and Mr. Sc Xhafer Tahiri.
After this exam was completed, a video incident has circulated in the media.
The Dean's office of the law faculty has contacted the two aforementioned professors and Mr.sc. Xhafer Tahiri. Dr.c Emine Avdyli and Prof. Dr. Tahiraj butterflies have confirmed that the student involved in the video incident copied on the exam, then refused to be identified and attempted to leave the hall with the test. After that, course carrier Dr.Sc. Amy Avdyli and Mr.sc. Xhafer Tahiri has attempted to stop the student in question to identify with the aim of implementing measures and initiating disciplinary procedure, as provided with the UP's statue.
Likewise, two professors Dr.c Emine Avdyli and Prof. Dr. Tahiraj butterflies confirm there has been no violence or other similar behaviour, as presented in public (Social and portals). So beyond these images and videos shown, it has been found that the test in the subject has been kept according to the standards required.
The Jurydical faculty and its academic staff remained committed to preventing the phenomenon of copying and other negative behaviors which were shown on students' exams and other activities. Moreover, it is disturbing that when these phenomena try to reflect negatively in relation to the integrity of academic staff at the faculty.
With the aim of preventing the phenomenon of cheating on exams, from the Jurydical faculty are taking concrete steps in recent months, and that even in order for devoted students to be offered an objective learning environment that allows for a quality assessment and formation of new lawyers”, writes in the response of the Jury Faculty.
