Italy: Harder Restrictions Against COVID-19 in Lombard

Twenty Italian regions have been divided into yellow areas (moderate risk), orange (average risk) and red (high risk).

Italian Health Minister imposed more restrictions in several regions, including Lombardine, under the fight against COVID-19.

While, for the first time, Sardinia, passes into the white area, where most restrictions have been lifted except those of wearing a mask under any circumstances and social distance.

Sarden has registered over three weeks at least 50 new cases of COVID-19 for 100,000 residents, the main criterion for moving to white areas, where restaurants are also opened in the evening and where cinemas, theatres, gyms and swimming pools can also be opened, the ATSH reports.

In the face of increased growth in new cases and new variants in the rest of Italy, Sardinia has decided, however, to gradually open its activities under”, the health chief in Sardinia, Mario Nieddu, stressed.
