Former Health Minister Uran Ismaili has said that with PDK governance, it will be invested in primary care, empowering family medical centres, so that they can truly be an address where citizens receive the answer directly and proper care.
Our “Plan envisions quick implementation of the concept of family medicine as a priority. So for each family in Kosovo to have a family doctor who has the responsibility to convey the health of that family, he gives advice and offers health services. ”, Ismaili said.
Through this plan, the launch one, for every 2 thousand residents in Kosovo, will be a medical team, consisting of one doctor and two nurses, who provide individual and family care. Investment in the family doctor, strengthening his direct relationship with the citizen, is one of the largest returns investments in public or economic health. Because disease is prevented, hospitals are not overloaded, and general health improves.
