Isa Mustafa will resign today from the post of LDK chairman during the party leadership meeting.
News sources within the LDK suggest Mustafa has decided to withdraw from the leading role following the desperate outcome in the February 14th elections.
Lutfi Haziri, or Kujtim Shala, are expected to be his successor in the position of chairman.
Mustafa's party has marked the deepest defeat in its election history. The LDK has not won in any municipality, while also deeply lost in municipalities where officials of this political subject are leading.
When 99.23% of the vote is counted, the LDK ranks third with 102 thousand and 959 votes, or 13.08%.
