The nuclear Agreement must be advanced, and the will of all sides is needed for that. In this context, Joe Biden is ready to sit on the table with the Iranian side to talk about the details of the” nuclear programme.
This is the latest statement made by the president's adviser, Jake Sullivan.
He thus responded to Hasan Rouhani's demands on a necessary table for the prosperity of the process.
Otherwise, the nuclear agreement, officially known as the Joint General Action Plan (JCPOA), was signed in 2015 by Iran, the US, China, Russia, France, Britain, Germany and the EU.
Under the deal, Tehran was allowed to enrich uranium until a 3.67% concentration, and in exchange for world powers agreed to lift their economic sanctions against Iran.
However, the US, under the direction of former President Donald Trump, withdrew unilaterally from the 2018 agreement and again imposed sanctions on Iran, prompting Tehran to stop meeting the nuclear agreement.
