Will there be increased cases with COVID-19, Valbon Krasniqi speaking

He asked about the possibility of increasing the most infected number following the rallies held during the election campaign, has said one thing is hard to predict, but has said that disrespect of the measures has increased the number with infected.

According to him, the current pandemic situation is manageable, he said, 485 patients are in all hospitals, with 336 of them on oxygen therapy.

Krasniqi stressed that 26 of the patients are in serious health condition.

“Exactly the situation with the pandemic covid19 is manageable and since the beginning of January we have a much more favourable situation from the epidemiological aspect where the number of new infected cases has managed to stabilise about 300 per day, as well as the clinical aspect of affected by covid19. Currently, there are 485 patients in our hospitals who are lying today, 336 of them, with oxygennorapy, and 26 of them present the very serious situation. So its number of lying in our clinics has been lying about 500 sometimes even more times less”, Krasniqi added.

According to him, clinical management of cases affected by screwd19 consists in three directions, bed insurance, the provision of needed medical staff, and the provision of drugs and relief materials.

As for drugs and other medical delivery materials, we have also made visible improvements and stabilizes the supply with most of the drugs used in treating patients except the importance that we are not yet available, but we have made obvious improvements in oxygen. As far as medical staff is concerned, we have limited numbers of doctors with anesthesiology specialists, Putmology”, he added.

In the past month in Kosovo, three cases have been identified with the British Varina of Covid-19, while Krasniqi has said that of the 30 samples sent to the German from the IKSHPK in co-operation with the Health Ministry, three have resulted in three infected with the new British version, which have fortunately already recovered.
