A 49-year-old man was stabbed in the face by her husband after winning 5.5 million pounds in the lottery. Stephen Gibbs has been charged with the attempted murder of Emma Brown on their property of 700,000 pounds.
Emma was found with wounds on her face, arms and stomach last Saturday. Friends and her neighbors have described 49-year-old as a friendly woman who had no conflict with anyone.
Also, residents claimed Emma had previously worked as deputy manager but had quit working after winning the lottery. Gibbs was sent into custody Wednesday and is expected to appear before the tribunal next month.
