Hoti: Salaries and minimum pension will be 300 euros

In the town of Drenas, Prime Minister Hoti unveiled his programme for youth and employment. He said his government would be a business partner and nobody would violate their work by sending inspectors to be fined.

“We have concrete plans for 4 billion euros of public investment from them 1 billion have already pledged from the Washington Agreement. In the area of youth, the capacities of youth organisations and youth representative mechanisms will be strengthened. The adequate regulatory framework will be created in order to ensure youth participation at various decision-making levels, and special care will be given to marginalised youth groups”, Hoti said.

According to him, youth will be supported by providing quality education in educational profiles on the basis of labour market needs. “Plans will develop for youth employment support, subvention of new entrepreneurs, facilities for transition from school to employment, opportunities for practical work by closely cooperating with companies, promotion of volunteer work, continued training for integration in the labour market, assistance for students, youth innovation centres, etc., Hoti added.

“He said it will be worked on creating and implementing relief measures for the housing issue for new families, then on recognising volunteer work as a form of transition from schooling to employment, increasing financial support for youth organisations, supporting co-operation with international youth organisations, etc.”, Prime Minister Hoti said.

The prime minister also spoke of projects his government has implemented in Drenas. “We have invested in these projects: the drinking water collectors at Verboc Drenas Village, construction of the Drinas Transit Street - King's Cross, the expansion of the Komoran-Drenas-Skenderaj Road, construction of the professional high school in Komoran etc”, the LDK candidate for prime minister said.
