Hoti: Through Pristina, all highways linking Balkans will pass

The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo for prime minister of the country, Avdullah Hoti, has presented the governing programme for the Pristina region, for which he has promised specific support for businesses opening new jobs. The incumbent prime minister has said that in Pristina all highways that Balkan law and that the capital will also become the chief centre of the region and reference for Balkan security and stability.

Hoti has promised a modern capital and administrative centre of education, culture and sports.

“in our vision and with concrete projects already provided by the government of the Democratic League of Kosovo Pristina will be transformed not only into modern capital but into an administrative centre of education, culture, youth and sports, and, above all, at regional joints of economic and technological development. Through Pristina, all highways linking the Balkans will pass and beyond Pristina will be the knot for modern railways in the region and beyond, Pristina will become the region's chief centre, the reference point for security and stability of the Balkans”, Hoti has said.

Hoti has said the LDK governance will enable Pristina to implement supporting policies for businesses and citizens to improve public services.

“Specific support for businesses that create new jobs, support local and ecological agricultural production, full transparency growth and elimination of any bureaucracy. 408m euros is the value of projects which are supported by the government of the Democratic League of Kosovo for Pristina, which give a completely new development dimension to our capital, including the 97 million waste water plant, Pristina-Dylan National Road, Pristina-Podujevo road, expansion and rehabilitation of Pristina-Mitrovica's magical road, the expansion of the runway, and the establishment of the landing system at the yetmarievation airport, the construction of the Apean municipality of Pristina<16>, he said.

He has continued on, noting Pristina Hospital, the new government complex in Hyvali and construction of the facility of the Tax and Customs Administration in Pristina, stressing that these are only some of the projects with which the LDK government supports Pristina.

Hoti has said the LDK will not co-operate with crime and corruption, declaring that alternatives to other political parties consider them gloomy, and according to him send the country to degradation and isolation.
