The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, on Monday, asked the citizens of Lipjan and all of Kosovo not to vote on those who burned the Assembly and bloody our police, the men and women of this country, who are serving the interests of the state and citizens.
You're witnessing what they can do for power. They burned Kosovo's Parliament, the temple of democracy, while blooding the Kosovo police, the men and women of this country serving in honour of”, Prime Minister Hoti said.
The prime minister said that those who are putting red ribbons today, as in the time of communism, have seriously damaged Kosovo's reports with the United States and European allies.
Our government needed to recover these relations. When we took the lead in the government, the United States had imposed sanctions on Kosovo, after the Millennium Challenge Corporation's <x0) funds had been blocked, the US Army warned of leaving Kosovo, while training for KSF was suspended. For seven months of governance, not only did we pass sanctions, but we managed to make KSF part of the Iowa Guard to contribute to world peace”, the LDK candidate for prime minister said.
He said that as long as we're proud of our state-building past, our political partners are erasing the past because they're being ashamed of their actions against the state and the interests of citizens.
“They have always been on the opposite side of Kosovo's history of state and democracy. We pride ourselves on our political history. We are proud of President Rugova and his journey that we are pursuing today, while our partners have been on the opposite side of Rugova and the state of Kosovo. Today they have committed dozens of IT to hide from the public their statements against democracy and against processes that brought the formation of the Kosovo state”, Hoti said.
