Democratic League of Kosovo candidate (LDK) for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, said Thursday during the election rally in Istog, that by voting for the LDK, Kosovo citizens vote for the Kosovo state project President Rugova had launched.
He argued that thanks to the LDK government, Kosovo has been removed from American isolation and sanctions, closing last year with the decision that KSF as part of the US Army serve in peacekeeping missions. During this time, Hoti said, word of exchange of territories and word of corruption has been removed from diskurs.
“Both of these issues are due to our prudent and credibility rule. So on February 14th there will be no alternative, the LDK is the only option, there is no alternative, these who seek citizens' trust leave nothing without doing to win a handful of votes. They're the same ones who left us without visas, they're the ones who burned the Kosovo Assembly, they're the same ones who are asking for your vote, with whom we're facing. These don't represent alternatives, on February 14th, citizens have LDK, they have democratic order and on the other hand they have the Ottoman model of governance that doesn't take us anywhere.”, Hoti said.
We are not strangers, nor are we people who experiment with the state of Kosovo. Vote for LDK is the vote for the vision for the state of Kosovo by President Rugova. We have witnessed how long we have governed, since we have restored normality to the country. We are among the only countries in the region that with the recovery measures we have completed the biggest crisis we have in these decades. Our package and economic recovery measures have regenerationd 700m euros, which have been invested in the economy”, Hoti said.
After several weeks in the government we received an invitation to the White House, we found no maps or knives, but we found agreements empowering Kosovo in the international arena that ended with a new recognition from Israel, which I and my colleagues have been offended in the Parliament. I have asked political officials not to tell us anything but to thank the Israeli people for this recognition of”, Prime Minister Hoti said.
The LDK candidate for prime minister said convinced that during the year 2021 dialogue with Serbia will end with mutual recognition, while with the help of the LDK European allies will also ensure visa liberalisation.
