Hoti: With the help of the diaspora and 700 million dollars of investment passed the pandemic crisis.

Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, at a meeting with the electorate in Decan and Yunik, has said on Thursday that with 700m euros in public investment and with support of remittances from the diaspora, Kosovo has overcome the economic crisis caused by the pandemic. “E Thank our diaspora which with their remittances, the largest to be held [...]
“E thanks to our diaspora, who with their remittances, the biggest of which can be remembered, during 2020 helped us to deal with 700m euros of direct investment in the economy successfully exceed the crisis caused by pandemic. While countries in the region need 3-4 years to overcome the pandemic crisis, we, with the support of the diaspora, have spent 6 months”, the LDK candidate for prime minister has said.
Hoti said that only from Washington's agreement, Kosovo earns $1 billion direct investment, while another 5 billion will be activated in the next four years. We have 700m euros in investments contracted with the European Commission. We know what we should do in health after all those reforms have started”, Hoti added.
The prime minister has thanked the Minister of Health, Andmend Zemaj for the successful work he has done in managging the pandemic.
During his visit to Junik, the prime minister spoke about his plan in the area of tourism. “We will provide grants and loans to companies in tourism, develop tourist complexes through public-private partnerships, establish infrastructure for tourism, prepare digital tourist maps (cultural, archaeological, religious, sports, etc) and subvention rural tourism”, Hoti stated.
Prime Minister Hoti has also visited Pec Banja, where he talked to the owner about his private sector promotion project.
