It was 3: 00 a.m. on February 17th 2008, when Kosovo's Assembly was gathered to mark one of the most historic moments for Kosovo, but also for Albanians in general.
Millions of Albanians waited in their homes for the moment of independence, while others had gone out to the squares to celebrate.
By 3:30, Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi had pledged Prime Minister Hashim Thaci to read the declaration of independence.
At 3:39, Kosovo was only independent.
