Haradinaj: We have lost patience for 20 years, no longer remain blocked by Serbia

The candidate for president from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, on the argument Plus show, as he spoke about the governing programme, where he also showed his party's focus, said what they have done is that they have worked based on the real situation and on that basis even came up to the detailed programme that has been welcomed as such.

Haradinaj said that although they are aiming at the post of president, even in that case, the AAK will also support the ideas of potential partners.

Speaking of why he chose to run for president rather than prime minister, Haradinaj said he had the honour of twice leading the country as prime minister

For this reason we have gone to the presidential race and readiness to support the government. This no longer makes us weak but enables us to support the government on many issues”, he said.

Among other things, Haradinaj said he wants the vote of citizens for the president's position, as he explained, is very important who is president, because according to him, the president is the head of state.

Haradinaj also said they have thought about the five-year plan and projections for the past five years.

“Mby 20 years we're working on membership in The UN and NATO. After 20 years we're not even at the door. Over these years we have lost a generation of lives and many young people have left Kosovo and much has happened. I'm not willing to lead the waiting country for another 20 years if we remain blocked, so we go to the union option with Albania.

This is very real and the odds are to happen”, Haradinaj said.
