The candidate for president of Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has spoken about the AAK programme, where it showed that much attention has paid to the economic part because of the situation we are in.
“Citizens during the time we've been in the pandemic, investigated that they've had a focus on topics, and it's seen a heightened awareness of the challenges that await Kosovo, especially the consequences in the economy -- here is the great interest of citizens -- we've given them answers to the programme that has been received with respect. If we talk about security, the situation continues from a stable state and needs to be lifted. The foreign policy is well known, while what has changed greatly is that from that economy that has had growth, we have a huge decline and that is what makes the situation urgent and should stop the economic downturn. This has pushed us towards giving the economy” the main focus, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj further indicated in what way the programme that has been compiled will function to emerge this economic crisis. He said that he cannot establish the economy with tax hikes, where, according to him, the only way economic growth is with the new money.
We've got an interesting situation in the election, we've come up first with the program, and it's roughly repeated from others, if you take them in time for economic recovery, and you follow other parties and you see they've taken it as normal. The parties understand that they are unable to raise taxes by increasing the economy, the only new outlook is the most reconstructed one. The 1 billion emergency fund, 200 million, is relocation, 100 euros for each small city, 170 million market-inflowed, 100 million more taken from the AKP, with the enabled credit guarantee fund being 100 million euros given for easy loans, and 600 million more borrowed, loans that will not increase public debt and Kosovar Bank for Development, for a character bank that fits private sector requirements, where they want models like Slovenia and Croatia. The capital market or Albanian stock exchange is third. These two are longer-term plans. I'm not even against the fiscal minister, it should be considered legalisation of the markets, so the idea is to find those instruments as far as new revenues in the economy”, Haradinaj indicated.
