Germany extends entry bans from countries with variants of Covid-19

Border restrictions banning the vast majority of people from entering Germany from areas considered at high risk due to the coronary variants will last until March, according to a proposal presented by the German government. The entry bans, which were the head of the last days because of the chaos of travel to the border with the Czech Republic, were originally set to stay in place until February 17th, the ATS reports.
Only German citizens and residents can enter from those countries, except for some qualified and logistics workers.
Countries such as Great Britain, South Africa, and Portugal are listed.
The Czech Republic and the Austrian region of Tirol increased at the weekend.
