German MP with orders for Kurt: Get Free From Ideal Course

After the elections in Kosovo, the liberal Bundestag MP Renata Alt has reacted. It views Albin Kurti's stance as a danger of political transformation in Kosovo.

Bundestag's liberal MP, Renata Alt, member of the Parliamentary Foreign Commission and rapporteur of the liberal FDP for Eastern and Southeast Europe in a response to Deutsche Welle after the Kosovo elections, stresses that Vetevendosje's victory shows how great the desire for transformation in Kosovo is.

Liberal MP Renata Alt also views Albin Kurti's stance with scepticism.

Without the political compromise of Albin Kurti, it is not a good promise for this, and it can be a major challenge in creating the government. If Vetevendosje does not want great disappointment to come after great optimism, it should be released from ideological course and pursue dialogue. This is also irreplaceable for normalising relations with Serbia and for a reliable relationship with European diplomats. The EU has in the same measure the responsibility to realise the long-delayed visa liberalisation”, the German deputy tells the media.
