Two municipality workers had accused George Tron [Georges Tron] of pretending to be an expert in the reflectionology, making them to be subjected to foot massages that later turned into sexual acts in 2007 and 2010.
Tron was found innocent in 2018 after a court ruled that there had been no evidence that women had been forced into sexual acts. However, the appeal had reversed that decision, writes The Guardian, translates Periscope.
The court had ruled that “the sovereignty of the charges”, “Persistent expressions” of Tron and “the pressure exercised against witnesses and victims” justified the prison sentence.
The court had also recognised “the moral threat” that Tron had had had towards his employees, because they had a smaller position.
The “is a big victory for all women who may have had problems at work,” said Vincent Ollivier, the lawyer of one of the women, following the verdict.
