The European Parliament has recently published two reports on reforms undertaken by Kosovo and Serbia, praising the work done so far on their path to the European Union.
Reports have focused mainly on democracy and rule of law, media freedom, freedom of expression, as well as on fighting corruption and organised crime.
Despite that, normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia took on an important part of the published reports.
The European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee has approved both reports and has once again called on five European Union states that have not yet recognised Kosovo to do so.
MPs have also reiterated their call for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, as the European Commission has concluded that the country has fulfilled all required criteria.
In addition, European Union countries, as well as the United States of America, have asked Kosovo and Serbia to resume dialogue as they think the world does not expect indefinitely.
After the February 14th elections, it is also required that Kosovo reach the institution of leadership in the nearest term, following the certificate of final results.
