The European Union has neutral status on the Kosovo and Serbia issue.
That was the reasoning the EU used when it argued the issue of the scandalous map dialogue emissary Miroslav Lajcak holds in his office, where Kosovo is presented as part of Serbia.
And so has former EULEX judge Malcolm Simmons.
He in a post in Titter has asked whether it is possible for an organisation like the EU to have a neutral status.
Simmons has said that such a suggestion suggests that the EU can support a result that is not in its member states' interest.
Could an EU organisation be neutral status? Being national on status suggests that the EU can support a result that is not in the interests of the Member States. Is this a reality?
Otherwise, Simmons is expected to testify in the Kosovo Assembly on violations EULEX had made during its mission to rule the law in Kosovo.
He had submitted a request for reporting, but the government's collapse has postponed his reporting.
