Not the EU-Kurt, but Kurt pressures the EU: Review the Berlin Process

It seems that all the pressure to resume immediately the dialogue that came to him from the United States, Germany and France recently in their letters of worship is not impressing Albin Kurti on incoming prime minister. Kurti, whose party turned out most strongly voted in the February 14th elections, [...]
Kurti, whose party was most voted in the 14 February elections, in an interview for Le Temps from Switzerland has indirectly criticised the European Union for failing to make an integration deadline, but also for the Berlin Process.
Vetevendosje leader has said he will review the Berlin “process”.
The Berlin Process is an intergovernmental co-operation initiative aimed at re-visiting relations between the Western Balkans and the specific states of the European Union for an improved regional co-operation in the Western Balkans on infrastructure and economic development issues.
Instead of the Berlin process, where members other than Kosovo are 15 other states, Kurti is seeking a Marshall Plan.
The Marshall Plan, officially known as the European Recovery Programme, was an American initiative in 1948 for aid to Western Europe destroyed in World War II. The US goals had been to rebuild war-damaged regions, remove trade barriers, modernise industry, improve European prosperity and prevent the spread of communism, writes Periscope.
However, Kurt points to <x0-democratization, rule of law, and new generation education”.
Even the European Union has called for re-initiating Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia, while Kurti has reiterated that this topic is not a priority for it, since it is not a priority for Kosovo citizens.
Full response:
Integration will not happen in the near future, but the EU must give us a deadline so that the citizens of the region can have a hope. We also need to review the Berlin process to turn it into a real Marshall Plan, with emphasis on democratisation, rule of law and education of your generation. Former President Trump liked “facts and interests” and we need to add this “values and principles”. I hope Brussels and Washington are at the same wave length for relations between Kosovo and Serbia, as do Berlin and Paris. We need this double synchronization, that's the key to success.
