According to the AFP, the same sources, which have not been confirmed, say no victims were reported.
One of the missiles reportedly fell on the border of the area's high security zone, while the other two fell into nearby neighbourhoods.
This is the third attack in a week targeting diplomatic, military or Western trade institutions in Iraq after months of calm.
