Last week, institutions have warned of the possibility of the tightening anti-Covid19 measures, following increasing the number of infected people with this virus.

And against changing measures or even total closures, there have been numerous businesses whose pandemic has caused many consequences.

Economics expert Milazizim Abazi, in a proposal for Periscope, has said the second closure should not be the option at the government's review table.

“S first, as it seems, Kosovars in the majority are already immune to Covid-19 and second would be unaffordable to Kosovo's economy, but unaffordable even for Kosovars' pockets. So far the pandemic has left about 50,000 citizens without jobs, while a second closure would double this number of unemployed”, Abazi said.

He has said he should currently think about the total lifting of measures, while he has said that more needs to be invested in improving the health system and a new package of economic support. /Periscopi
