Drescu reacts after Biden's letter to Kosovo recognition: It was inappropriate.

The chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo in Serbia's Parliamentary Assembly, Milovan Drescu, said today that it is necessary for the Serb people to trust the Serbian List in the February 14th elections, so that he said “to preserve political unity and continued communication and co-ordination with Belgrade”. Drescu told RTS that he saw it, [...]

Drescu told RTS that without him, there is no survival or future of the Serb people in Kosovo.

According to him, any loss of votes or Pristina's attempt to take individuals leads to a weakening of the political influence of the Serbian people.

“Only through the Serbian List, Belgrade can help and we should not allow a division to be caused through individuals of Serbian nationality”, Drocun added.

He stressed that American President Biden's congratulations sent to Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, on the State Day case, were inappropriate in the part related to the recognition of Kosovo.

When someone sends you a wish for State Day and requires that you know (as an independent) a part of your territory, of course it's some kind of provocation and it's inappropriate”, Drescu stressed.

He pointed out that all those who rely on pressure have the wrong calculation.
