The news has revealed Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi.

He has suggested that the voting service of this institution is in the conclusion of the census and verification of apps for voters outside Kosovo for the February 14th elections.

During tomorrow, Monday, we will have a detailed report on the number of apps that have been accepted by January 21st, as many of them have been approved and how many of them have been rejected”, Elez said.

Elez said that all those persons who have registered successfully as voters abroad will be able to vote via mail starting on February 2nd.

The “reductions must be accepted from the CEC by 12 February. Also, tomorrow we will have data from the call centre regarding the verification of applicants through their call and how far this process has gone, Elez said.

This year, the CEC, in order to verify voter data outside Kosovo, has said it will contact voters abroad three times over the phone.

Kosovo will hold early parliamentary elections on 14 February.
