O B S: The decline in new cases is slowing down

The global number of new cases, David-19, dropped by 11% to 2.4 million last week, a rate lower than the previous four weeks, according to a World Health Organisation report (OBSH).
The fall from the week-on-week has slowed significantly in Europe, Africa and the Asia-Peacework region, while weekly numbers increased in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, reports ATS.
America was the only region in the world where cases continued to decline at a double pace.
O BSH has provided no explanation for this development.
The report notes, however, that variants of coronarys believed to be the most infectious are found in an increasing number of countries.
The version of South Africa has been reported from 51 countries and the so - called Brazilian version from 28 countries.
