In accordance with the Labour Order, at the request of incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held corresponding collection\electronic, the 66th meeting in a row. Several decisions from the areas of constitutional and legal responsibilities of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo have been adopted at the meetings.
The first decision has been adopted by the Community Programme, which defines the criteria and procedures for separation of subsidies and transfers from the budget of the Office for Community Affairs at the Office of the Prime Minister, with the goal of supporting and promoting all communities in the Republic of Kosovo.
This programme will be implemented by the Office for Community Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office and by the physical and legal persons that will be beneficiaries of subsidies. The programme will guarantee freedom of participation in competition; no discrimination and equal treatment of applications; transparency of procedures and decision-making for applicants; compliance with the objectives of sharing the subsidy; impartially in reviewing and preventing conflict of interest; preventing funding for the same beneficiary more than once in a year; and preventing the prevention of the same project from other budgetary organisations or donors, except co-finance cases
The government has also approved the decision on sharing additional financial means in the amount of 665,210.00 for paying gross border security for the period 1 August 2020 to 31 December 2020. These vehicles will be paid by the Treasury in the separate account of the Kosovo Security Bureau.
The Government's approval has also taken the decision on sharing additional financial means for the Ministry of Labour and Social Management and the Prime Minister's Office to finance the demands of pensioners associations and the demand of missing family associations. Fifteen thousand (15.000) euros are earmarked for basic-Social pensions; fifteen thousand (15.000) euros for financing the demands of relevant pensioners associations; thirty-four thousand and six hundred (34, 610.00) euros for the prime minister's office in the category of subsidies and transfers; thirty-four thousand six hundred and ten (34, 610,000) for financing of missing family associations.
After review by the government cabinet, the decision to change and fulfill decision no has been adopted. 02/30 of 1205.20, complete with decision No. 03/60 on the 2701.2021 basis for the use of vehicles of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. According to completions and changes, the rules of use of official vehicles are not subject to cars in the use of the Kosovo Law Implementation Directorate and other entities within the framework of Kosovo Customs. These cars, with authorisation of the Director of Law Implementation, Customs Director General, and Interior Minister's decision, can be used by customs units for operational purposes at any time even overtime.
The government cabinet has reviewed the Defence Ministry's request for the suspension of Article 20 of Rule No. 23/20 for Defence Accords until the completion and change of regulation by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
In order to exploit the shared budget for coverage of planned expenditures for defence attachés under diplomatic missions, the transfer of budget funds, the Ministry of Defence in consultation with the Treasury, respectively, will allow access to all bank transactions for the Ministry of Defence and Treasury through the attaché. This will ensure that funds in these accounts will be used exclusively for official purposes and for the realisation of expenditures planned for defence attachés.
At today's meeting, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the decision to implement international economic sanctions on entities and physical persons, defined according to sanctions lists imposed by the United Nations, the European Union and the United States of America. These sanctions are implemented with the aim of preserving the national interests of the Republic of Kosovo and active contributions to preserving international peace and security. Sanctions will continue until another government decision, and depending on the circumstances can be updated.
