Furthermore, through response to Periscope, decanas historians have also rejected a recent statement by US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costet, who had sharply criticised Kosovo politicians for failing to implement the Decani Monastery Law.
Periscop, of course, does not take sides in the clash of Decani historians with Ambassador Costnet, but reports correctly about what the parties say.
The journal Periscope has consistently followed the commitment of the “access to Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri”, the Decan” branch, but it has been critical as expected by a medium.

The League of Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri” The Decan branch reacts to the offensive and biased language of the newspaper “Periskopi”, which has written today a letter entitled “The famous Decani historians declare honorary membership to the nationalist journalist”, in connection with our decision to declare Honourary member, Marin Meman, a prominent Albanian journalist and author of the “Albanian Gwurme <85>>
The opinions of this newspaper are punishable and unacceptable. Also, its language is offensive and anti-Albanian national language.
We, we tell the newspaper “Periscope”, that truth is told, and to defend the truth of the history that Albanians are not ashamed, but it is an honor. No one can distort the history of Albanians.
The League of Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri” the Decan branch is known for its positions in terms of implementing the times of violent measures in Kosovo, namely Milosevic's time. So, even our reaction to the U.S. Ambassador's statements (SHBA) in Pristina was a valid response, and we reminded the ambassador but broad opinion, that the United States has also fought the laws of the time of violent measures in Kosovo, the laws of Europe's last dictator.
We remind the newspaper “Periscope” that no one has violated the territory of the Decani Monastery. The Decani Monastery is violating the decanan territory, and challenging the state of Kosovo.
We, we will never hold back from the injustices that are becoming Kosovo's particular division in general.
